Global health worker recording interactions between mother and child.

On my first full day in Tororo, Uganda I had the opportunity to go into “the field” and collect data with some of the workers at Global Health Uganda. Below is a picture of one of the Global Health Uganda workers recording the interactions between a mother and her child throughout a meal.

They live on a beautiful piece of land with a river flowing behind the house. In the river they wash their clothes and bathed. They had many cows that were free to roam throughout the area as well.

While in the field I came across a man fishing in a small creek that flowed

by the road. His fishing pole was slightly different than anything I have ever used before. It was made out of all natural products. The man gave me the opportunity to try my luck. Unfortunately, I was not able to bring in any fish!
